001 - [Action Post]

[Once he'd gotten over the initial shock of having a body of his own again, Roxas realized that it was surprisingly hard to see. Light being his element, he'd never had any trouble seeing in the dark before, but now his world was almost pitch black. He wondered, briefly, if he really was on his own now, but he couldn't sense Sora. This had to be somewhere, there just weren't any lights.]

...hello?

[Failing any response, he started slowly forward, trying to feel his way.]

[Axel's reaction was so like him, as if nothing here were out of the ordinary, that it almost set him at ease. Almost.]

You were just here, though. Did you...leave, or something?

[...Maybe leaving meant he forgot. Maybe Roxas didn't remember at all.]

[Roxas frowned in confusion.] I've never...

[He stopped himself. There were a lot of things that he'd done, and didn't remember.]

Well, that's not such a big deal. This is, uh, well it's someone's house. And we're all stuck. And, yeah I did die but now I'm here so it's not so bad.

[He hated forgetting things, but Axel seemed fine with just spelling it out for him all over again. And if they really were stuck here for a while, then he'd have plenty of time to ask what he'd forgotten later.

He studied Axel for a moment, still frowning, and then took a few steps closer to do something very important: prod him in the chest. Just to be sure.]

Well, I- could be seeing things.

So. [He ran a hand through his hair. This whole thing was still pretty surreal, and he half-expected to wake up any minute.]

...how come the lights are out?
